The reed marsh is the most representative natural environment of the Fondotoce Nature Reserve, located near the mouth of the river Toce. It offers the ideal ecosystem for numerous animal species (reptiles, amphibians, mammals, insects) and for the nesting and wintering of a hundred species of birds.
It is possible to cross this fascinating natural environment on comfortable walking or cycling paths.
